BIBFRAME (Bibliographic Framework Initiative)
Initiated by the Library of Congress, BIBFRAME uses a Linked Data model to provide a foundation for the future of bibliographic description, both on the web, and in the broader networked world. As such, developers are concentrating on creating a transition from MARC21 formats to the BIBFRAME model.
